I killed 5 of them and I didn't understand why. The peak current was 30A and normaly, it's not a problem for IRFZ44. So I tried another IRFZ44 from COMRAD and everything was okay. So I decided to test these ''irfz44'' from Banggod. And I found the RDSon = 50mohm (twice the value of the spec.), and I checked the die size = 1,5mm2 (half of the normal size for the IRFZ44). Conclusion: These MOSFET are working fine but they are not IRFZ44 and they can't hold 30A. So they are okay to play with them to switch a few amps only.

  • Siskojuice HI Mate i agree they are not rated at 30A i have put them in a power supply the keep it running for a few minutes then die out and the power supply switches of. only at 5A and 18v dc in.
