But the plug-in bananas are too short a shade too short and need to be pressed very hard to make contact at the station, and they pop out of the plug very easily due to that shorter length. Another microphone, which is not a Baofeng, bought in the same store from another manufacturer, fits very well into the connector, better than this one. But ultimately, it works and isn’t bad for that money, one just needs to be careful not to jump out of the plug when grabbed by the hand.
