As soon as I turned them on I started to feel a change in the air quality, as I'm a smoker they really do their job in purifying the air. Most people will consider such appliance as useless box in the socket but they will be far away from the truth. The odor in the room has changed 5 minutes after it was switched on. I can not count the an-ions or the dead bacteria but the part of the heavy smell in the room has disappeared. A new one similar to the mountain odor has appeared.
