I ordered this lamp to be used outdoors next to my front door. It replaces a 40W bulb and man does it light up the area. I bet it is radiating out more light than the previous 40W bulb. On the downside I ordered the one with warm white light and I think it is still quite bright, a bit moretowards the yellow side of the spectrum would have been nice. But hey it does the trick for a fraction of the cost of the previous one.
