Am an so happy with this one. Its easiest that I wondered, just set SSID and password in the examples and working. No trick, no magic, no pray. Love it!

The device actually has the big "Wemos" logo unlike the site photos, so likely isn't an even cheaper copy of a cheap Chinese item. Very nice ESP8266 board, just plug to USB and start coding. Also has 2.54mm raster and includes a brilliant set of headers to install to a breadboard and/or sensor wires. I used the long legged male/female ones, thus can both connect to a breadboard and connect sensor wires directly. Immediately connected to my WPA protected WLAN with LUA, unlike some 8266 I tinkered with before. I prefer this one over the bigger 8266 board variety, one which I got doesn't have direct mapping between 8266 pins and the PCB pin markings.
