Having converted 144001s to brushless since 2 years, this is a dream come true. No more grinding/slotting of the motor mount and no more drilling of the pinion needed!!! I'll drive it with a quickrun 60A esc

timm.hansson I have a 124017 v1 that I'm looking to upgrade to v2. Where did you find the reduction/center gear? From my understanding, the v1 does not fit these pinion gears.

BenLandel You scared me a little with your claim, so I waited to be able to actually make the swap to reply. On my 144001, originally with a brushed 550 motor, it's a direct drop in replacement with the stock 44T spur gear. I cannot advise for your specific application. I'd ask on quadify rc group for your application.
