texas2017 Did you replace the ESC to a 40A to use a 4S Battery?

texas2017 if using the recommended motor it will be underpowered. Im thinking of using a 3535 1200kv. Also the motor mount is very weak, needs some serious reinforcement. The landing gear is terrible for grass but and it will barely take off from solid ground.

texas2017 Ithas mass but very easy and smooth to land. The only drawbacks is a weak landing gear, motor mount that breaks easily when using a 4S battery and lack of power with a 3S. I use a 3S 2200mah battery and an APC 9x6 prop but will test it with a 10x5 and see how it goes.

texas2017 Update 08-2020, after 2 months of flying this plane I'm very dissatisfied. First of all the stock remote controller is junk the plane flying completely unstable with it. I had to spend an extra $15 to buy a satellite receiver to make it DSM2 compatible and bind to my Jumper T8SG transmitter. I flew better for about a week, then the elevator servo went bad for no reason. I had to cut open the plane to inspect and confirmed it as a dead servo of very bad quality. I google OMPHobby website and they want $20 for a new servo, what a joke! I also wrote to them for complaining about the stock controller and lack of stock of the satellite received and they ignore me, never responded to my email. I'm not even sure of this plane will ever fly again after replacing the servo since I had to cut big chunks of foam just to access and remove it. For anyone thinking of buying this plane based on YouTube reviews, I would recommend you stay away from it since they are probably fake.

texas2017 Nice, what size props are you using with this plane. I'm thinking a 4S battery is the way to go.
