BG481531711 Yes, the servo is proportional, you must use a board and controller designed for such application. The WPL controller with the sound board is a great choice for the beginner. Easy to wire, you tube support for installation of board, sound, and steering and throttle. If your into scale crawler, military vehicles, self assembly and learning how to wire it all up this is a great starter with hands on in the different phases of the R C hobby.
