Q: What is the reason these power supplies must be mounted vertically? Rising hot air maybe?

Wouter I would guess it is more related to water ingress. They are supposedly ‘rain proof’ but mounting them otherwise probably results in water getting inside the housing. I also don’t see a picture of the terminal section being closed off. I wonder how that is supposed to work.
