I first tested this with 12V and set the current to 0.1A. The actual current measured was 0.12A but the display was 12.5V and 0.15A. So the measurement was way off. Then I used 50V and set the current to 2A. It lasted just 2 seconds and the current inputs developed a short-circuit. The fan did not started at all. The display still worked but the constant current setting no longer worked. I measured the resistance among the power MOSFET device (IRFP250) pins and they were shorted together. I changed the MOSFET to a good one (IRFP460) and it works again. The voltage and current measurements are also much more accurate now. My conclusion is that this is of very poor quality and I do not recommend it at all.

KKChan I had the same problem as you did. The problem is that there is an SS54 schottky diode across the current input (as protection) and its breakdown voltage is only rated at 40V. Anything above 40V will blow this diode. I changed the diode to a 1N4007 (not ideal but that was what I had) and everything works OK now.

should support up to 60v. On test with 40V power supply the load stopped to work. it is not possible anymore to change the load or switch it on or off (it shows new values on the LCD display, but the output is short-cutted) Waste of money.
