nice and cheap! i used 2 of these on my 29" TV that i am modifying for my truck. the trigger or on wire is a positive trigger. bought an extra as a spare, just in case, but these have lasted almost a month with being on for at least 5 hours a day. will definitely buy these again if i need more for other projects!

Q: so i bought 3 of these, and have no clue how to turn them on... i have 4 wires on them, and luckily, the back of the board has a wire pinout on it. im guessing F/N is off and on, but is the wire positive triggered, or negative triggered? i really dont want to end up blowing one of these up to find out...

analog56x used this tool quite a bit today to finish up the project that i broke my 1212-2 on. performed flawlessly, though this tool is JUST too tall for my lathe. the tool is set as low as i can get it in my toolpost and its about .040" higher than center. im working on building a new toolpost for my lathe, so I should be able to run this tool a lot better.

I broke my 1212 trying to cut an oring groove in some steel i was turning. This one looks a fair bit beefier so we'll see how much better it holds up.

I really like these! they seem to work great. I cant fully test them, as my ER20 R8 collet chuck needs to be modified to work properly (right out of the box), but I am planning on testing these out very soon. Packaging was great, light oil used on the parts, inside bags, inside labeled tooling boxes. cannot wait to try these out!

Theres one mistake that is present in the one i recieved that makes it so i cannot use it. On the nut theres a piece that was machined way off. Ill have to chuck the nut in my lathe and machine the section down.

I have zero complaints about this kit, except for the boring bar. the angle on the tool under the carbide insert makes it very difficult to bore anything under 1". I ground some relief under the carbide insert, and was able to bore from about 5/8" and bigger. most of the stuff i do is about 1/2" ID and this boring bar just will not work for that. I was practicing with threading some cold rolled with the other tools, and they worked great! Highly recommend these tools, just know that the boring bar, unless you modify it, will struggle with smaller than 1" ID boring.

I havent had a chance to use these yet, but if the rest of the tooling is any indication, i suspect I wont be using many of these. I bought these so that I would have them in case i broke any. I like to have extras on hand, as I hate waiting and delaying projects.

These laser pointers are exactly what I needed! the beams are nice and crisp, and straight! focus appears to be bang on, at least on the first one I tried! Im going to be disassembling these for a project, but so far, they look exactly like the ones I had previous. decent quality, very cost effective. Definitely brighter than 5mw though, like WAY brighter...

I ordered some of these because ordering the 1117 chips by themselves would have cost more than this whole unit. I never actually used the unit, but it looks well built. there werent any cold solder joints, so i can only assume that they worked before i harvested the chips from them.
