Q: Why is this advertised as a 20x when it is 1.005x magnification?

dave@ratcliffe.org If you received a 1.005x loupe (now THAT'S a weird number) then ask for a replacement. I ordered a 20x and that's what I received.

This is one of the things that actually cost a fraction of what my local dealer charges. And it is well made, and of reasonable quality. The noise from retraction is considerable less now than before i mounted this, This was a good, and cheap buy. I use this for my extruder, the heatsink was thrown in a drawer.

This is a gem on banggood. Good battery life, easy to read display. A little slow to reset for next measurement sometimes, i.e. not consistent latency. Sometimes it does not measure, but compared to my Bosch, it outperforms it in the field, by having a lot more range. For the price, it is a true gem.

Running all 4 on my QQ-S Pro. Good, Bad? I dont know, it did not exactly make i silent, and there is no visual improvements on the prints. The one thing i can tell is that some salmon skin is less visible.

Work well, but is a little on the soft side for marking hardened tool steel. For mild steel, and aluminium it works well. (And i even use it to make starter marks for drilling on hardwood)

It repeats very well. But the build quality is not top. Plastic feel cheap, and the finnish is not top notch. But i works, and does the job with some practice.

Toroa Yes, and more, it measures 0.001 mm and 0.00005 inches.

Q: One of the linear guides for the table, is about 1/10 of a millimeter to thick, and therefor it does not goes thu the linear bearing. What do i do? It is 10,04 to 10,08 mm in diameter.

It builds nice, when all parts are into spec. The optical axis for the bed are 0,1 mm bigger in diameter, and it cant go thru the bearing without binding. So a have an unusable DIY router stacked in the corner. Al the other parts are sort of ok. Price you know. So for me, this is not a happy buy.

Small, rechargeable, and handy to carry in your pocket. A little slow to measure compared to my much bigger and heavier main tool. After one weeks use, my conclusion is that it is too small. It is so small that it is hard to keep it stable when you are aiming for a small beam overhead. Apart from that, for a quick tool in my garage, it is more than i ever really need. So it wont travel to worksites with me, but at the homeshop it will live a long and happy life.

A nice toolkit in a nice box. Way better than most sets from China. The plastic inside the box could have been better, but this is a kit that costs less than 15 USD so i think it is ok. The finish of the bits is better than most of the sets that collects dust in the mancave, this one is going to one toolset that will be used. The handle is a little bit sloppy on the turninghead, but not so much that i can say that it irritates me a lot. Value for Money? Yes. Precision? Well. Recomendable? Yes. 4,3 of 5 stars from me

This is actually a nice piece of a model. Compared to anoter one that i ordered, it is 100 times better made. I had one like this when i was a kid, and it was a brand name, but this feels just like it.

You need to be at least one meter away to get fooled by this, It is poorly made, the die is probably worn down, and it is flashing all around. Look at the pictures. You know they say more than i can tell here.
