The seem to be cutting nicely on both flutes but I'm not impressed with the stepped grind. I think you would be better of buying a set of m35 cobalt drill bits from Banggood They are pretty good and only half the price

I've been given a set of these collets to review on my youtube channel. I checked 3 of them and the all had more run out than a decent drill chuck. They are also pretty rough on the inside and the 5mm collet is a lot bigger then 5mm. Here's the video: https://youtu.be/9XmksoZF8YQ

I've installed one of these on my 100+ year old bench lathe. The harmonic noises it generates are much quieter then with my 30 year old drive. (that died b.t.w.) It also doesn't have one of those noise little fans. And that's a big plus for me. Unfortunately I haven't figured out how to configure vector control. The Banggood website does list this feature, but I'm starting to think it might not be possible. The English user manual is no more then an A3 size piece of paper. But it's well written. I was a bit worried about the air gap behind two of the inserts after tightening up the screw, but after using it the gap were gone. The insert held up fine. So far it look like a nice and usable tool.

I bough 3 of these with E27 connectors. two of them turned up dead and with a E14 connector. But the replacements Banggood sent were ok. So thanks for that.
