This reel I purchased, (I bought 3 thus far) was another pleasant surprise. I can't believe the quality of this reel for the investment I made. Yes, investment, it's the right word for my purchase. I'm sure this reel is going to give me long serviceable use. It's larger than I expected it to be, but that's OK with me, I have just the rod for it. It's well made, and smooth as silk. If it performs as well as the others I bought, I'll be very happy. Stand by, I'll be fishing with is soon, and I'll write another review. .
