On first opening the box I thought it looked pretty cheap, but I've changed my mind -- it's somewhere between silver-colored plastic and very light-weight aluminum, and rather interesting looking

Looks great, works fine, and takes weight of towels easily. But would be careful to put anything very heavy on it (then again it is a towel rack! 8)

Happy with it. Currently mounted on my bathroom wall. Nice with the included screws and fasteners. Maybe a bit short but works easily if you fold the towels. Would recommend it if you're looking to get one. Oh and it has a chrome finish. Don't know why one of the pictures is showing a glossy look.
