Will not accept Open TX flash for new firmware nor will it read the onboard SD card (sold separately) both are vital for ensuring proper operation. FrSky has very little information out to assist. I had the new 2.3 OTX version already downloaded as well as sound pack, R9M firmware, R9M Slim Firmware all downloaded and set up on an SD card for when the Taranis arrived. I nearly bricked my new Taranis but was able to find a way to restore the original OTX version. I had to do a lot of research on Youtube and other venues to get information. Apparently this is common with the new X9D Plus 2019. See RC Groups Forum and others for more information. Great radio but not quite ready to be released to the market. The Access protocol of the R9M is a great feature for binding and communication and will make a good long-range setup.
