Excellent quality and easy to use. I was very pleased with this purchase, it is much better than I expected. The display is very easy to read indoors a light tap is all that’s needed. In full sunlight shading the lid with my hand let’s me read the display. I have found it most useful when filling with very hot liquids, the display shows when it is safe to drink. With ice in the liquid it seems to stay cold for many hours and the display shows when all the ice has melted and the temperature starts to rise. I was curious about the battery, it is not user replaceable but sufficient for about 80,000 readings according to the manufacturer which should provide a reasonable life. There is a useful, removable small stainless steel basket supplied that fits inside the neck of the thermos. The appearance is very good, it is aesthetically designed and the box it comes packed in quite sturdy. I will be buying a second one at this price as it’s cheaper than a lesser quality thermos locally.
