Conform to description. The received item was quite dirty with scratches on the window. The 11.472 m seen on the screen was measured facing the sun on a dark stones wall. I measured more the 21 meters in full sun on a white paint wall and more than 30 meters in some darkness. Measures are exactly reproductible, but the are some uncertainties due to the fact the back in rounded and not flat. Also, the bottom is not flat and then somewhat rocky. The location of the button is not practical at all. The smallest distance for the laser in about 30 millimeters...

The red LEDs NUMLOCK and CAPSLOCK are misplaced by several millimeters and not visible from a standard location while typing. (they were lit when the picture was taken). I had to drill a hole to see them. I had also an issue with the mouse, precluding the PC to come to sleep and with a fast depletion of the batteries. Putting the mouse on its back while not in use solved the issue but it is somewhat annoying. I suspect some interference with another Wi-Fi item but there is no explained way to change the channel. I had a similar item (same brand and aspect) for 3 years and was satisfied with it.

Conform to description. Note the 2 holes in h lower left and upper right edges to ,maintain the item with small nails and the rulers on the top and bottom. Not a very high precision but useful anyway..

Conform to description. Good quality. Note the orientation of the sensor on the picture. The flood is placed at the edge of the house, and when someone come from the left, the alley on the other side is illuminated up to about 15 meters.

Very well visible, even in exterior and daytime. The upper ends of the lines are a lot brighter (see picture) and with the help of item 1248785 (Red Green Laser Target Card Plate for Red Green Laser Level, Red option) it is visible at least up to 10 meters (30 feet) in full sun light. There are 2 strong suction cups on the bottom Angle 90 degrees verified within the announced tolerances. Highly recommended. Batteries are not provided, I use 3 Ni-Zn rechargeable AA 1.6V 2500 mAh It will be nice to have also a variant with diverging instead of converging beams (i.e. in the opposite side)

Q: While it takes about 5 seconds to fully open/close, is it possible, using a shorter pulse (say 2 seconds) to maintain a partially open position ?
