Really valuable instrument, with lot of options for the price. A single BIG defect, luckily quickly solved googling around: the touch screen responds randomly, sometimes by its own, sometimes not reacting to taps. I discovered that the plastic box is slightly thick and "pushed" the touch screen on the side. Putting four plastic washers between the two halves of the enclosure at the screws and screwing back all, solved the problem.

Fine instrument, but assembly instruction manual was a bad copy, hard to read and almost blank in some spots; some resistors are present in the kit, and needed, but strikedthrough in manual. The rotary encoder is a little bit cumbersome to solder and mount, clearer explanation will be better. Anyway, good value for the price

pappu_lqf Well, as per standard, the LM78xx have a regulated voltage of 'xx'; the LM317 is a variable output controlled by a resistor; you must consult the datasheets for details and schematics

Nice gadget, but slightly difficult to use! I succeded in activating it in my hands, but not when mounted on a wall. The activation methodis not complicated, but the description in the manual is too terse and not very useful. Anyway, is not easy to push a button to activate, when the gadget is mounted 3 meters up !!!
