These are fantastic for DIY builds. Light, well finished and very stiff. You need to be careful when cutting them as they produce dust and fine filament that you really don't want to breath in, and the filament will penetrate skin and itch (much like working with fibreglass). Face mask and gloves recommended. If you have a 3d printer you can build custom joints and make some really nice designs with great strength to weight ratios. Highly recommended!

This looks like it would be a fantastically fun flier for the money - if you get a good one. The combination of lightweight frame, decent motors and efficient props make for good flight times with plenty of zip, even on 2S. Unfortunately I never got to try it on 3S as the ESC burnt out one of the mosfets after about 6 packs of fairly gentle cruising. The ESC also shipped with the obsolete BB10 processors and not the faster BB21 as advertised. I bought the kit on sale thinking that it was less than the cost of the parts, but with an incorrectly advertised ESC that is now toast it doesn't seem like such a good deal. The props seem pretty good, but are very noisy even on 2S. The motors and frame do seem to be pretty good, the camera is not very good.

This is really handy for keeping the most used bits close to hand and easy to get at. The mechanism is cleverly thought out so that the bits are easy to pick up from the container - it works just like in the photos, every time. Undeniably a bit of a luxury, but very nice to have!

I was a bit sceptical about ordering this, but now that I've had it for a while I can't imagine being without it. Very well made, balances well in the hand and makes life so much easier if you're doing a lot of assembly/disassembly. The only real concern I have about it, is that it doesn't look like there's any way to open it up to replace the battery, so that likely sets the limit on its useful lifetime.

Very useful current/voltage/power meter. I added xt30 plugs so that I can put it inline between the battery and a drone when I'm setting up current metering.

Note that as shown in the photos, these are not the 'u' version of the connector, they are the standard xt30. They weigh about 2.4g per pair.

jameskingdon The wiring is different so that they spin in opposite directions by default. It makes it easier for those who aren't familiar with configuring their ESCs or for boards where ESC config is actually difficult.

Simple setup and works well, both with the Smart Life app and with Alexa. There are four simple animations that you can modify the colours and rate of change, as well as a few pre-set static colours or set a custom one with hue, saturation and brightness. The wide range of input voltage makes it easy to power, and the unit is small. In an ideal world a few more animation options would be nice, as would the ability to sync to music.
