I turned the output voltage up all the way and it burned out, but the second one has been working perfectly. I would buy this again, why would anyone need all that voltage anyway.

well constructed and exactly as advertised. fun little gadget but bit too small to be practical. I ordered an extra laser module because the laser won't last forever. I got a 1500 mw replacement and can then run at reduced power, the power module should be able to handle it. you should get one of these if only for the fun factor. Now I'm looking for a bigger one.

I use this all the time to hold up my phone to watch YouTube videos. the swivel end is nice. Stays in any position. don't use the table clamp. don't really need it.
