Andrew I have it in 1:10, I don't know about 1:8. It says it is waterproof but I have never tested it. I have several of these in my cars, never had a problem.

Andrew I wouldn't if I were you the ESC is fairly temperamental, however, if you re-gig the electronics, then the actual car is well up for the upgrade and runs sweet at speed.

Andrew hard to say.. what size pinion-drive ratio you have, what size battery you're using, what vehicle you're using, where you're driving, there's just to many variables to be accurate,, suffice to say, using a middle of the road 1:10 car on track, tarmac or short grass, using a 2s battery, then easily quick enough and using 3s, probably to quick.

Andrew Yes.. but its to involved to write it here. Just Google Racestar 60A ESC, there's loads of info in the online manual and some You Tube clips.

Andrew Sorry, I don't know about the card. It came set up quite nicely so I haven't needed to adjust it.
