So far so good. Nice set. Comes with WPL logo. Purchased the version without motor and use the 6V "Gearmotor for WPL" with this transfer-case. Case well made. Comes with two shafts and 3 pinions, 2 pinions with 3 mm bore for the driveline, and one pinion with 4 mm bore for the gearmotor; furthermore 6 (!) nice M1.5 stainless steel grub screws (for pinions), a 1.5 mm allen wrench, 4 nice shielded ball bearings, 7 M3 cone-cap phillips-head screws of stainless steel (for mounting the motor to the gearbox and for mounting the gearbox to the frame) and 6 M2 socket head black screws (for closing the gearbox). Needs some assemblage. You will need the/a 1.5 mm allen wrench (provided with the kit) to mount the grub screw to the motor-pinion. Because this grub screw is somewhat "inside of the case", this cannot be done with a 1.5 mm hex screwdriver. First mount the motor, then the pinion. You will have to lubricate pinions urgently! I also highly recommend to use blue Loctite for all screws. Did not like the cone-head M3 screws, used M3 button head hex screws instead (with flat lower side of head), and did use M2 socket head screws out of stainless steel instead of the screws provided with the kit. The shafts urgently need shimming! Unfortunately no shims are provided with the kit. You will need M3 shims. After shimming and lubricating the gearbox runs very smooth in my test setup, silent, no rubbing, tiny play, very good! I can highly recommend this gearbox for people who have M3 shims for shimming axle shafts. However, those shims should be provided with the kit.

Very high quality full metal chassis. Does come with all gears, including 11 t metal pinion. Does come with nice beadlock rims, but no tires. Nice metal shocks, not oil filled. There is not any peace of plastic in the whole chassis, only some rubber o-rings for dampening links and a plastic disc inside each shock. Shocks are nice, but springs are way too hard. They are much harder than the hardest springs of SCX24 upgrade shocks wihich come with springs of several hardness type for tuning. Springs have to be changed if you wanna good dampening. This metal chassis is more or less an exact copy of a SCX24 Chevy chassis, including central transmission. Same wheelbase as Chevy and Betty, links "Chevy style", nice and metal, not high clearance. Good quality metal driveshafts. Unfortunately they simply copied the SCX24 and did not include "upgrades" what nearly all SCX24 owners make for tuning. Servo mount is too small for upgrade servos, and even too narrow for the most popular Emax upgrade servo. Motor mount plate does only come with 2 holes for screws, so it is not possible to mount a Barrage motor, you will have to drill holes or buy an upgrade plate with 4 holes. Also battery mount has the same stands, you will have to cut the right front stand to mount a Barrage motor. Battery mount is made out of metal, heavy and high up. Unfortunately they did not change this, no LCG battery mount, no "Barrage" mount possible without mods. If you wanna mount a Komodo or Surpass outrunner you will have to cut the electronics mount plate, which is necessary to keep the front shock mounts firmly in place. This chassis is "ready to go", you will need electronics, tires and a body, it is made for the SCX24 chevy body. Watch my review video in the video section.

RicBorgs The only difference is in the colors. One use black for - red for + and white for signal. The other version uses different colors. Pictures show Silicone as the insulation and maybe there is a mix of silicone as insulation and PVC to make the strand. Nobody complained so they must be good.

Q: does it have a trailer hitch on it or can you put one on it?

This is a very good little truck, better than description lets think. Body looks in real much better than on the pics, very sturdy lexan, foldable plastic mirrors, cage, front grill, ... (no transparent windows). It comes with a rebranded DumboRC X4 radio (works with other DumboRC receivers) and a DumboRC receiver with integrated lightcontroller which works with Dumbo 4ch and 6 ch radios (only 4 ch work, ch 5 and 6 do not work). Light can be controlled by ch 3 (hazard lights) and ch 4 (on, off, blink). 8 (!!!) front lights (orange turning, 2 x white, blue surrounding), 2 turning lights in the back. ESC is a "new" black Hobbywing 1625 which is different to the "normal" (red) HW 1625. It has crawler mode and an awsome (!!!) drag brake. But low speed control is very, very poor (biggest downside of the truck, original HW 1625 does have way better low speed, but no drag brake). Works with 2s and 3s Lipos. Drive shafts are plastic, not metal! (Description wrong) Axle housings are plastic, but sturdy. Axle gears are metal and extremely sturdy, well made. Central transmission gears are plastic (but very sturdy). Shocks are oil-filled, plastic, metal cap screw. Frame and links are plastic, rather flexy, shockmounts integrated into frame. Tires are soft, no foams, not very sticky, and glued to the plastic rims. Use 12 mm hex, WPL rims will not fit. Wheelbase matches MN90, WPL C34, MN45 perfectly. Servo is plastic gear 17 g (not kg!), JX PD1181MG upgrade will fit. Very little steering bump. Motor is very strong, 370 gearmotor. Check my review video in the video section!
