BG414382024 The instructions say "5V DC". This is on the picture with the red and black wires that go to the power socket (and the motor and the ...). 5V 2A works for me.

BG414382024 I got it to work with the following orientation: The pins have square and circle symbols on both the main PCB and the little PCB. Line up the squares with the squares and the circles with the circles. Also, the little inductor on the little board is placed closest to the edge of the main PCB.
