First, what you see is not what you get, the model they ship is not the model on the pictures, it's actually the model in the second video (as you will also see from the many pictures in the reviews). hence the four star rating. Having said that, this is a good medium pressure washer, if you use it for what it is intended, washing your car and your garden furniture and the likes. It takes Makita batteries, but I would recommend you use the battery that comes with it as your primary battery since it is a closed battery that does not let water in. The Makita batteries have some kind of ventilation openings in the front that allows water to get in and potentially short the battery. When you do use a Makita battery, put a plastic bag around it and secure the bag with a rubber band to keep the water out. It's not a big problem, but there is no need to invite Murphy. As far as I can tell it has the same pressure and nozzle settings as all other medium pressure washers, like Ryobi, Worx, etc. but at a better price. Now if they could just put the right model in the pictures they would get five stars
