This clip easily attaches to a Convoy S2+, via the lanyard holes. I was able to install it simply by using needle-nosed tweezers to hold the nuts in place while tightening the screws. The fit of the connection is very good, feels solid, but it was necessary to slightly bend the clip to ensure the tip of it actually contacts the body of the light. Corners are not sharp, but are very crisp and straight; I could see this being a scratching issue on furniture, especially leather seats. Others have recommended thread locker for the screws, to ensure they do not become loose and fall off after extended wear. I haven't carried it long enough to say it's an issue.

This allows you to convert a standard Convoy S2+ (which uses an 18650 battery) into a smaller format that uses a single 18350 battery instead. Installation is very simple - unscrew head and tail from light, use this part instead of the original 18650-length body tube, screw back together (with 18350 battery instead). In this minimized format, the S2+ comes in at a very compact .9375"DIA x 3.3125"length (24mm DIA x 85mm length). Please not that this Grey is true monochromatic grey and does NOT match the newest batch of silvery blue-grey S2+'s with the Biscotti firmware and the SST-20s/SST-40s.

Very simple, self-explanatory battery charger. Charges at 0.5A or 1A. Auto-detects battery type, also functions as a power bank. Feels well built and reliable, especially considering its excellent price point. Plugs into power via a USB cable, which is included, but the USB power adapter (the little block that goes into the socket) is NOT included.

Q: Does this match the pastel-blue Convoy S2+? They look very similar.

riloh9 Itdoes not. This is a true monochromatic gray. It is indeed very close, but when assembled, you can definitely tell the difference.

Excellent entry-level flashlight. Compact, sturdy, bright, customizable, biscotti firmware - what's not to like? Comes with lanyard only, recommend you purchase a clip for it. Can be very easily converted to a smaller version by using an 18350 body tube and 18350 battery. The quality of the beam is quite nice; it is very clearly warmer than a typical cold-white beam, though you may experience a slight purple halo around the beam, especially when shining it on close flat surfaces. The knurling is quite smooth, not aggressive, so may be prone to slipping in gloved hands. Light definitely heats up if used at 100% for prolonged periods of time, but not dangerously so. Tailcap is pretty well designed and I haven't had any accidental activations on it. All told, a good quality light that will surpass most generic store-bought flashlights, at a good size and form factor.
