Delicate, light and fine! This is that dress you always see as the "bottom layer" in the pictures. The very thin cotton is really not something you'd wear by itself but, as as a chemise or "underlayer", it's perfect. I have to admit, I've worn it around the house just because the fabric feels sooooo lovely on the skin! Very nice construction and quality. Sewn honestly and conscientiously. Neatly made and true-to-measure in the size. I now have three of these and just love them.

I bought this as a casual cover-up or summer "cottage" wear. Item is neatly made, seams are straight, no loose threads. The fabric is nice and cool, not too heavy but not see-through, either. However, even though I selected the size strictly by measurements, this robe is HUGE!!! I bought for a 44" bust, with a little room to spare, but when I actually measured the dress it was for a 52" chest circumference. That's measured under the arms, as normal. Not sure if it's supposed to be that way, but if you don't like floating in your clothing and getting caught on doorknobs and furniture, you could probably choose a size or so smaller than recommended by the chart. I'm going to do some simple alterations, just so it's wearable. Other than that, it's a cute little robe!

Generous is the perfect word to describe this sundress! It's definitely a summery style and gives you lots of ventilation room in the skirt. The fabric is a tiny bit coarse but still beautiful and nothing shows through! Nevertheless, it's very comfortable in the hot weather. The floral design is printed on and looks bright and vibrant The straps are adjustable, which is wonderful, so you don't need to have the gaping under the arm that many sundresses of this type seem to have. The top of the bodice in the back, between the straps, is elasticized on the upper edge and helps keep the straps in place. Never seen this and it's a great idea! This style is a deliberate design choice but it definitely surprised me with just how much fabric there is in the skirt! Since it's an empire waistline, you end up with a layer of gathers just under the bust. It's not terribly thick or anything but, if you're not used to that feeling, it can be easily remedied with some very basic sewing, so it's really not a big deal at all. The construction is very simple but of nice quality. Seams are straight, the hem is straight (!!!) and there are no loose threads or missed stitches. Really a nice summer dress. Absolutely love this fabric. Good job, seller! Thank you!

These dresses are so simple but SOOOOO comfortable and versatile! The fabric is, indeed, cotton. It seems a little thin, but I could not see anything showing through even with undergarments a little darker than skin. Not sure if I would wear the black bra, though. The fabric is incredibly soft and pleasant on the skin. Although it's a casual design, it can be starched up a little and dressed up with jewellery and pretty shoes and suddenly it's a going-out dress, too! Very summery. The construction is tidy and nicely done. There are no loose threads, the buttons appear to be sewn on securely. I only wish it had pockets in the side seams - but those are easy to put in and might ruin the line anyway. I bought two of these, because you can't have too much of a good thing ;)

Absolutely love this dress. It's not cotton but viscose and is beautifully cool! It's one of those dresses that is universal, depending on the accessories you choose. The fit is exactly according to the chart, so no guessing was needed. The only thing I changed was to substitute the corset lace in the back with a longer ribbon. Everything else is perfect.

Love the cotton fabric! In spite of what the white looks like in the listing picture, it's really not seethrough. It's extremely comfortable, a good length, and can be dressed up or down. The neck turned out to be a little higher than I would like, but it's a simple case of removing the top button and re-hemming the neck. It's just my preference, so no points taken off there! The only thing I would wish for on this dress is pockets! Either patch or seam, doesn't matter, but it would add some serious usability value to an already adorable little dress. Thank you!

SO cute! I'm so glad that these little dresses are still around, because they are the ultimate summer piece. Definitely casual, it can still be all-around at a resort, cottage or resort town. The rayon will always stay cool and look very nice. If you throw on a light shirt over top, maybe tying it in the front, you can even get away with wearing it at a restaurant in the warm evenings. Quality is nice, straps are adjustable and the sizing is true to measure. With a 38C bra, a 3XL fits me perfectly.
