JLG Ifyou have done that, it is defective and you should contact the seller to have it replaced or repaired. Under normal operating conditions, it does not update the firmware because it is not registered with google. Even so, it should have a point in the box where you can insert a small pin for the reset as it happens with phones and tablets, but I have never explored it because I did not need it.
