Finally an R/C that my wife will let me drive in the house!... It's a pretty nice car considering the price. It has a 2 speed selector on the controller and is very fast for its size!! Very pleased with this product and cant wait to make some cardboard ramps to bash around the house with this one... Recommended. Lots of fun.

Q: so many people are having problems with this ESC reciever combo burning out after driving my 979 B five times the ESC receiver has quit working is there a different ESC receiver combo that will bind with my a979b remote

evilmoose Same my a979b started smoking and the motor I think was burning Probably because I used it in the snow.

It fit wltoys a979b sort of you have to move the old motor over so it fits. But for some reason it made my car start smoking and know it does not work. This product Deserves a five stars but WL toys and a97b does not and I couldn’t edit my old review. the car caught on fire after a while driving it was super hot and lights on fire. Do not buy wltoys a979b I mean it you will end up spending more to make the car work then the price of the car.

It is very fast. And good of rode. But the battery life is short. And it makes a funny clicking noise some time. But it’s good for the price. It came in about one month.
