bought the flysky version. before you buy this, please read the reviews by buyers, especually on issue of the micro usb port via jst type head. for me, i dont like to solder into the fc board, so i diy the usb cable using the correct size jst i bought specially for this purpose. i actually bought a few sizes because i was not sure which one will fit. once i managed to connect into betaflight, after all those com port issues, and done flashed latest version firmware, then the rest of the steps including binding with my jumper t8sg was easy. flight is good and stable with racerstar 8520 motors from banggood. i used an eachine m80 85mm frame which is too big and does fit. i just secure the FC with cable ties and hot glue. will buy different frame later. still waiting for other parts ie vtx camera for my fpv. recommended buy.

this is my first hobby grade transmitter. superb quality for the price. brand new, sent in a sealed box. and, no scratches on the lcd screen! i am actually a bit concerned because quite a few buyers commented on this issue. so far, i manage to bind with eachine e016h, wltoys v988, and my 2 micro whoops using flysky receivers. far nicer controls sticks compare to the toy level transmitters included with the heli. smooth. i tried to play fpv sim on my pc but i could not manage to get a working config and calibrate..the sim keep on getting the axis messed up bad..maybe my own fault. i used 2 18650 batteries using the given holder. best buy. recommended.

Q: is the lipo plug already soldered to the board?

bopih No. You have to solder the lipo plug to the FC board yourself. Not too difficult.

this is my first time buying a complete fpv. very cheaply price and suitable for fpv beginners like me. bought flysky version. with this fpv, i learn how to flash the flight control board via micro usb and betaflight/cleanflight, tweak basic inflight settings, troubleshoot binding issues with my jumper t8sg, changed my first burnt motor, and cutting tiny cables and soldering works. can fly okay. seems a bit underpower at times carrying the vtx and cover. maybe will try upgrading the motors or change into bigger frame later. a few cons..first, only one battery. second, the vtx keeps on getting interference and most of the time unusable when i the motors are running. i swap the vtx cam with a cheap eachine tx04 camera and the problem is gone. highly recommended buy. really learnt a lot basic stuff with this fpv. now i can buy parts and try assemble my own diy fpv. peace yo

this is my second rc heli. i am actually very new to rc flying. for me, it is difficult to choose the best among the available competing rc helis at this price range. and I am glad i chosed this instead of v911s. binded this v988 with my jumper t8sg transmitter and it works smooth and flawless after a few trims. no auto hover or hold hover which is fine. auto hover do gets boring after a few days. got 1 lipo only with the price. but that is okay because i got a few extra lipos taken from my micro whoops. recommended buy. fun to fly. flight time is around 5 minutes but it is fine.

shipping time as promised. all motors works good on my 85mm micro whoop frame. been flying for 20 minutes a day for few days, and the motors are able to keep up. motors are warm to the touch after every 3-4 minutes of flying, in between lipo swap. will definitely buy a few more for spare parts. recommended.

Q: Can I bind this to Flysky 9ch transmitter?

BG391123814 i dont think so. i cannot bind this with my jumper t8sg. unrecognised protocol. i am going to get a futaba receiver, install it into the e129 and get it bind with my t8sg.
