Best optical flow of any RC heli I have reviewed. Keeps it on the spot even over a tiled floor without a pattern. Very impressive. Add to that that it flies VERY accurately. No problem flying this indoors even in a small space. Three speed modes. On the fastest it performs quite well even in a breeze outside. For $70 it's a steal. Despite the fact this P-38 kit is not easy to assemble the results were rewarding. Carl had to use his significant experience of aero-modelling to assemble this kit because the instructions were not very helpful. He also had to make several minor modifications. These included adding a carbon spar to the horizontal stabiliser, adding lead weight to the back of the fuselage so the centre of gravity (CG) was correct and retrofitting some plastic to the bottom of each side of the fuselage to prevent the propellers getting damaged on landing. We opted not to fit the landing gear as it looked weak and would not have looked good in the air. He also found some of the hinges were not glued in correctly so worth double checking those and gluing in anything that requires it. The big wheels enable this Trainstar to take off from bumpy surfaces that would cause similar sized RCs problems. In the air this is quite stable even in a breeze and has the power for steep climbs. The trick button enables nice axial rolls at close to full throttle. Caution when doing a loop with the trick button it can snap at the top of the loop and take some height to recover. This is also very crash proof. We stacked it in at full throttle and it only broke the propeller. A spare in the box so we were flying again in seconds. Recommended for new pilots on a budget. Great scheme on this Cub. We tried it in 10-15mph winds and it flew quite well. It takes hard crashes VERY well. Super durable. The propeller pops off as designed and you click it back in place. 20 minutes of flying fun on the little battery. If anyone wants to try out or gift the fun of RC flying then this is the all in the box product for you. Simple assembly, charge the flight battery with the provided USB lead, put 4 AA batteries in the included radio transmitter and you are ready to go. Fill it with 7.5L of diesel, attach the flexible exhaust pipe with the provided jubilee clips it using it inside, attach the flexible warm air pipe is using it outside. Press the On button and takes about 30 seconds to start throwing out the hot air. Controlled by the attached panel on top of the unit, the remote controller or App on your smart phone. Set fan speed or target temperature. Easy. Will make my garage a far more comfortable working environment during the Winter.

Q: Where is the air filter and the exhaust silencer located on this model please? Ar ethey boths supplied with the heater? Do you have a photo with them fitted?

Essential RC Air intake and filter is on one side. The warm air vent is on the other and a flexible pipe is provided should the unit be outside to route the warm air into a building through a suitable hole in a wall. The steel exhaust protrudes about 2 inches from the back at the bottom of the unit. A flexible exhaust pipe is provided to route the gases outside. Worked quite well in my garage.

Brilliant combo that just works out of the box. The Pocket radio is pre-configured with the setup for the M1 helicopter so just charge the flight battery and go fly. Start off in low rates with low head speed. After you've gained confidence with that crank up the difficulty with high rates and high head speed. Essential RC Noneeded calibration for mine. Got GPS lock in 30 seconds on first flight.

Sehr schöner RC Helikopter Der Heli muss vor dem Start kalibriert werden um das GPS Signal zu empfangen. Die Haube um an den Akku zu wechseln muss die Fronthaube entfernt werden. Lieder keine Magnetverschluss und Kunsthof Verklemmung.

No assembly required. Just put 4 x AAA batteries in the radio transmitter and charge up the flight batteries with the provided USB charge lead. Turn on the radio transmitter, then the flight battery in the heli. Stand back and pull both sticks down to bottom left and right. Push up slowly on left throttle stick to take off. Easy to fly ! This heli does fly relatively flat in the turns BUT still a lot of fun flying such a cool looking scale helicopter. Full flight video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stTlbtDHeyk

We don't come across many ready to fly model that are good for indoor flying. Any RC aircraft for indoor flying needs to be very agile and very durable in our hands and these Cubs were surprisingly perfect for our 2 hours of indoor flying fun. Note that the Super Cub does not have ailerons so is not as agile although I enjoyed the challenge of flying it in that configuration. Outside theses are brilliant RC aircraft from Volantex RC. They are perfect for anyone wanting to try out RC for the first time ! Just charge up the provided flight battery with the provided USB charge lead, put 4 AA batteries in the transmitter, switch on the transmitter and make sure it is in beginner mode, then a gentle hand launch and have hours of fun learn to fly. When you are ready for a bit more agility, move the switch to the MIDD position...and then when you want unrestricted aerobatic fun move the switch to the EXPERT position. While flying in the BEGINNER and MIDD modes use the AEROBATIC button to perform loops and rolls. Note that there the Super Cub does not have ailerons. It is a 3 channel RC aircraft and you need to use rudder to turn. This makes it easier to fly but not as agile as the Sport Cub which does have ailerons and for an intermediate RC pilot is far easier to fly in a small space. This is a fast brushless quadcopter or what we typically call a 'whoop'. Jason initially tried it out in a sports hall and found it to be too quick for the first familiarisation and setup flight so we met at our local RC flying club and tried it outside. It rips ! It climbs out of sight in less than 2 seconds so you really need to fly it FPV using the provided goggles. You get everything you need in the box to get flying including the goggles which are basic but provide a good enough FPV view from the Whoop to fly it accurately. This Whoop can be flown on a single 1S pack or two 1S packs. A beginner would want to use 1S so it is slower and more manageable but an expert will step up to 2S and get competitive speeds for some awesome racing. The flight packs can be charged by provided USB lead or from your own lipo when at our flying site. You may want to go for the Fly More package with this Whoop as it comes with 10 flight packs to keep you flying for longer. The Plug and Play (PNP) version of the Fly Baby can be ready to fly within 15 minutes of opening the box thanks to its clever design. The wing simply bolts on as well as the undercarriage and tail assembly. The rigging wire are pre-made and simply require clipping in place. The decals are pre-applied but are quite thin and fragile to the touch so spraying some clear lacquer over the top would be a good idea. The wheels are very hard so if flying off asphalt you may want to swap them for softer foam wheels of the same size. We found that the CG was better about 30mm further forward than recommended in the factory instructions. We also recommend using 30% exponential on the ailerons and elevator for a smooth flying experience. Unfortunately this model does NOT come with a pilot so we took this from another model to give it that perfect scale appearance in the air. Jason, our resident heli expert, flew the simple fixed pitch E119 from Eachine. It's not vaguely aerobatic but it's not meant to be. It's super stable and that is what is important for first time pilots of RC helicopters. Simple to setup and simple to fly. A great first step in learning how to fly and RC helicopter before you moved to a proper collective pitch RC helicopter. You literally need zero experience flying RC aircraft to have fun with this JJRC M02. Follow the instructions and you could hover this around in multi-copter mode before getting enough experience to try the 6G stabilised flight mode which turns this RC into a traditional flying aeroplane. A 3rd 'Vertical' position on the mode switch puts this RC into a nose up stabilised attitude where you can still use the sticks to move it around before flicking into either of the other 2 modes and flying away.
