Q: I have my display, installed the driver and then grabbed the software. I can get the program started and operate the screen, but the software does not seem to be updating. It is almost as if it takes one read of the system settings and then does not refresh itself or the secondary screen. Any thoughts as to what I can do to get the refresh going?

I ordered this kit a little hesitant due to the note on the instructions not being in English. Ultimately, I think that helped because I had to go look up the parts, make sure I confirmed polarity where it applied, and in general make sure I knew what I was soldering and where. I would recommend soldering/welding the IC Socket first and then the display - it will make the board more stable for the remaining work.

Overall good headphones for the price. Noise cancelling worked very well filtering out wind and some background noise. It will be interesting to be able to take these on a flight at some point to see how they do filtering out cabin noise. One drawback, all commands in an Asian language, not English, but was easy enough to turn on/off and pair as it seems to work like any other BT device. Once for on, hold after on to go into pairing mode.

Q: Is there any way of getting the clock to only show the time? My kit is shifting through Time - Date - Day - Temp and so on, but i just want the time showing...

aserra Notthat I know of. The three rotate through as part of the coding on the main chip.

aserra Yesit does. I have used a number of devices with a Pi B, and Pi zero. You will need to hunt down the associated library for your devices.
