Car itself is actually fairly well built. I have not built and ran it yet with motor etc but everything looks compatible with advertised parts. However one of the wheels appears bent while on the car (photo attached)(rear left wheel on car). After taking it off and inspecting the axle, its not bent but looking at the inside of rim its obvious the face that seats on the hub is wedged on an angle. (inside of rim that sits against the axle)

Complete kit is installable on a k989 with no mods. Rims will need tires, i recommend ordering some as its a pain to remove stock tire from rim. Dog bones have to be slightly adjusted by spinning them out a turn or three to get best achievable angles. Wheels are still not perfectly straight (no worse then with original plastic parts), car runs and drives good. Once fully installed ball joints should articulate properly. This is the best quality metal parts kit i have seen available for the K989 (979/969). I believe this kit only deserves 4 stars however considering some of the other kits are not even fully installable this one takes the win.

Servo comes with new pastic servo horn and screw. Servo horn does not have servo saver built into it like original on WL toys K989. Stock setup in second photo. Will most likely have to trim plastic tabs off to fit in K989(979,969) servo holder. Have not installed yet.

BG531034151 Can you explain why you cannot get this kit to work? Some things could be of slightly tighter tollerance however I have successfully installed this kit on my k989 with no modifications and only a few small tools. I will post pictures in my product review.
