Thanks to the feedback reviews I figured out how to bind to a Spektrum DSM2 DX8 Tx - ignore these instructions to use a bind plug - just attach a 1s battery & when the red Rx binding light changes from fast to slow - power up your Tx with bind button depressed on Tx - once bound you can fire up the Rx easily after switching on the Tx. I used a brushed motor as supplied in the Black Flyer V2 kit - you solder to the spare connectors from the the built in esc. You need to set Tx max low trim on the throttle & the motor response is good with satisfactory throttle range & power - I used BG 1g servos that plug in easily. Impressive Rx at great price - looking forward to fligh test soon - recommended ! 😊

Jim Mangini :) I am doing something wrong...I think. Can not get it to bind. My RX light starts slow then goes to fast on initial power up. My DX8G2 reports "bind failed" regardless of flash speed.... dang....
