A very capable SDR receiver when connected to an external matching antenna. The supplied whip has poor matching on the HF bands so buyers beware. The registered version (up to 2GHZ) is the model to buy and in use, it compares very well to dedicated SDR receivers costing several times the value of this model. Time and patience is needed to get the best from its extensive capabilities. It's a project in progress so well worth doing some background research on firmware updates and modifications which further enhance this interesting and fun receiver.
