Edwin I think you connected the transducer out of the box. First you have to glue it on a tank and fill it with water.I had the same problem. I have replaced the transistors with F13007-2 and used bigger isolated heat sinks.Replace the fuse with a 250mA for the 220V version. The provided 1A fuse blows only when the transistors are smoked. Now it works really good and very powerfull. In the original version, the heatsinks are NOT insulated and have very high lethal voltage on it! Never touch them!!!

Edwin I had the same problem. Never ever connect and start this set before it is glued to the tank. Don't use it in an empty tank !!! I have replaced the transistors with E13007-2 and have them insulated and put them on a big heathsink. Otherwise the temperature goes to 150°C in a minute. This is critical for the transistors.This set comes with a 1Amp fuse for the 220V version. Replace it with a 325mAmp fuse to get some real protection. The original board has very high tension on the heat sinks.
