Initially was a little leaky. After screwing the top with superman torque (gasket snapped into place) leaking stopped, but the surface was dented. I really like the tea sieve, it snaps nicely into place and you can actually drink with the sieve in place, it stops the liquid from spilling out. It means you can use it in a car. The insulating properties are not as good as advertised. Heat seems to escape through the top, which gets noticeably warm. But it is expected from a thermos of this size. I wouldn't take it on a winter hike and expect hot coffee after 4h. But I would take it on a long car drive. Oh and there's a weird display on top that show temperature in %, it usually ranges from .02 to .66
