Good little DC power supply. The current limit and the constant current setting take a bit of getting used to, but they work well once you know how to set them up. As a switching power supply I noticed some birdies on the HF ham bands. A common issue with switching supplies. So you might want to consider that if using in a ham shack. I used a standard AC line filter in line with the AC input cord which reduced the RF noise by about half. All told, I am very pleased with this unit, and rarely would need it while on the radio. Worth the money in my opinon.
