(AU) The A959 is exceptional value for money. Took it out for a spin on day 1 and it lasted around 15 minutes with a mix of medium speed offroading and full throttle tarmac driving. My 3yo son had a blast watching it flip and bounce around. by the time it went flat it was muddy and full of grass. But it didn't faulty at all. My only concern is out of the box it has a lot of negative toe on the front wheels which leads me to need to constantly use the steering trim to try and get it going in a straight line. This makes for very difficult one-handed driving. I'm going to be buying some metal parts upgrades which solve this issue. Shocks are a little weak, but do allow for user oil changes thankfully. Plastic quality seems good for light to medium hits into solid objects, I would not recommend this for concrete skateparks etc, it may but a bit much for the stock plastics. A short grass or dirt BMX track would be this car's ideal playground. I plan to slowly upgrade this car with metal and carbon fibre parts with my son as a weekend project together. For a sub $100 initial cost + around $100 worth of upgrade options doing a full conversion this is an increadable value learning project.
