This is a very nice mixer. I mixed pieces of strawberries and milk. Even little pieces of bananas, strawberries and milk. You have to push two times on the button for the mixing function and ofcourse good shaking during the mixing time. By the way do these exercise 3 times and you have a good mixing drink. One disadvantage, the description is in Chinese but if you look on Internet you will find translation programs. About safety for use. The cup should be closed properly otherwise the mix-function can't start !!
